Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

“Service Provider” refers to Esin Gürel trading as Esin Gürel Law, a sole trader business operating lawfully in the United Kingdom, providing legal consultancy services within the scope of Turkish law.

“Client” refers to any individual or entity engaging our services.

“Services” refers to legal consultancy services provided within the scope of Turkish law.

2. Scope of Services

2.1. The Service Provider offers legal consultancy services exclusively within the scope of Turkish law.

2.2. Our services are provided by qualified professionals with expertise in Turkish law.

2.3. The Service Provider does not offer legal services pertaining to UK law or any other jurisdiction outside Turkey.

3. Client Engagement

3.1. By engaging our services, the Client acknowledges that:

  • All advice provided relates exclusively to Turkish law.
  • The Service Provider operates under UK business regulations whilst providing Turkish legal consultancy.
  • All communications will be conducted in English or Turkish.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1. Fees shall be quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).

4.2. Payment terms:

  • Initial consultation fees are payable in advance.
  • Ongoing service fees are invoiced monthly.
  • Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.

5. Confidentiality

5.1. The Service Provider shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all Client information in accordance with both UK data protection regulations and Turkish legal requirements.

6. Liability and Requirements

6.1. The Service Provider maintains professional indemnity insurance as required by UK regulations.

6.2. Our liability is limited to:

  • The scope of Turkish law advice provided
  • The amount specified in our professional indemnity insurance
  • Direct losses only

7. Termination

7.1. Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days’ written notice.

7.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to terminate services immediately if:

  • The Client breaches these terms
  • A conflict of interest arises
  • The Client provides false information

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by English law regarding business operations.

8.2. Any disputes regarding the provision of services shall be subject to:

  • Turkish law for matters pertaining to legal advice
  • English law for matters pertaining to service delivery

9. Data Protection

9.1. The Service Provider complies with:

  • The UK Data Protection Act 2018
  • Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK)

10. Amendments

10.1. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with 30 days’ notice to existing clients.
